Employees who are new to the asset recovery department
The recovery business can be complex - seizing assets from customers who are unable to pay debts seems more like a plot line to a movie then a reality. Gamification helps provide understanding into complex processes. The Recovery Board game was created to ensure new employees understand their customer’s lives and how the company handles recovery of assets.
Each player chooses an occupation and receives their monthly bills. At the beginning of the game, players are randomly assigned their monthly income.
Each player chooses a car. As players roll the dice and begin to make their way across the board, they receive a monthly salary as well as bills to pay. If a player cannot pay their bills, they receive an IN DEBT card.
At the end of the game, players must pay back the money before they can cross the finish line. The first player to reach the finish line, redeem their car, and pay their debt, wins.
Recovery teaches the importance of money management and the painful consequences of incurring debt.
