State of the Business was created for a publication outlining details and updates for employees by different directors. The e-mail newsletter included articles and illustrated content. The wordmark was made to resemble an online newspaper similar to "New York Times" or "CNN". The mix of sans serif and serif mimic the new mode of communication with traditional business updates.
